Vancouver, October 4, 2022 – The Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Vancouver, Mr. Marc Eichhorn, on the occasion of the 32nd German Unity Day invited the GCBA, as well as VIP’s and other special guests from the science, academic and arts sectors to a reception on Monday, October 3, 2022, at the BCIT Student Association (BCITSA) Great Hall at 6 pm.

Consul General Marc Eichhorn talked about the importance of democracy and freedom. The German Unity Day is a national holiday commemorating the reunification, which occurred in 1990, where the former GDR (East Germany) joined the Federal Republic of Germany.
